Denis M. Gravel, the founding member of Denis M. Gravel, P.C., brings over 25 years of legal expertise and knowledge to the Lake county area. He concentrates in divorce, custody, maintenance, as well as other marital and parental rights. Mr. Gravel’s compassionate and aggressive nature in the courtroom make him an incredible advocate for his clients. While always listening with an empathetic and understanding ear, Mr. Gravel makes decisions based on what is best for his client. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, as well as a member of the Lake County State Bar Association. 

Mr. Gravel received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Illinois in 1985 and his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1996. Mr. Gravel graduated #1 in his class, earning Summa Cum Laude recognition and was a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award. A year after graduating from law school, Mr. Gravel co-authored Obtaining Medical Evidence, an Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education publication. Mr. Gravel’s clients describe him as “direct, attentive, knowledgeable, and reliable.”
